The Legend of Bhima
It is also known as Pandava Nirjala Ekadashi or Bhimseni Ekadashi. Legend says Bhima, the Pandava known for his appetite, could not fast on every Ekadashi. Sage Vyasa advised him to observe this single, strict fast to attain the same spiritual benefits.
